What is dry cleaning, and how is it different from washing?
Dry cleaning uses a solvent instead of water, so it suits fabrics that can shrink or lose shape in water, such as wool and silk. "Dry" means water is not the main medium, not that no liquid is used.
Which clothes should be dry cleaned, and what does Dry Clean Only mean?
Dry Clean Only means the maker recommends dry cleaning alone. Wool suits, silk and structured or detailed garments often fall here. If unsure, send us a photo of the label.
What is Craft Direct, and how is it related to GO Laundry?
GO Laundry CD - Craft Direct is a premium dry cleaning pickup and delivery service, part of GO Laundry. It focuses on suits, dresses and formalwear for Thais and foreigners living in Thailand.
Do I need to bring my clothes to a shop?
No. Craft Direct is pickup and delivery only. We collect from your home, office or an agreed point in our service areas. Our office address is not a drop-off point.
Which areas do you cover?
We serve 8 central Bangkok areas: Langsuan-Ratchadamri-Ploenchit, Sathon-Silom-Surawong, Sukhumvit-Asok-Nana, Phrom Phong-Thonglor-Ekkamai, Riverside-Charoen Krung, Siam-Pratunam-Ratchathewi, Old Town-Yaowarat and Ratchada-Rama 9-Huai Khwang.
How much does it cost to dry clean a suit?
We quote before we collect, because the price depends on the fabric, stains and details. Send a photo by WhatsApp to get a price before you decide.
How long does it take? Can it be ready the next day?
Usually within 1-2 days in our service areas, with the return date confirmed in writing before every pickup. If you need it the next day, tell us the date so we can check first. Garments needing special care may take longer.
Can an assistant order on behalf of an executive?
Yes. Executive Desk is designed for assistants and companies, with an account contact and a single invoice itemised by person. Talk to us about the accounting documents you need before starting.
How do pickups work at an office or condo lobby, and what if I am out?
Tell us the pickup point and who can hand over or receive for you. Where the building allows it, items can be left at the lobby. We notify you at each hand-off and never enter a unit without permission.
Which stains cannot be removed?
No one can promise that every stain will come out. Old stains, heat-set stains and those that have changed the colour are usually the hardest. Tell us the type and send a photo, and we will say what is possible before starting.
What happens if a garment is damaged or lost?
Tell us promptly with photos. We will review it and respond under the terms confirmed before pickup. For high-value garments, please declare the value before we accept so terms can be agreed in writing.
Do you clean wedding gowns or handbags?
These need to be checked case by case. Send us photos and details and we will tell you whether we can take them before arranging a pickup.
